The Magelis advanced touchscreen panel XBTGT6330 is manufactured by Schneider Electric as a part of the HMI panel series. With 800 x 600 pixels SVGA, this Magelis panel unit has a 12.1” TFT LCD color screen. The operating voltage for the XBTGT6330 is 24 V DC. The port for this advanced touch screen is an Ethernet port. These products are manufactured in France and are designed for Material handling, packaging, and textile machines usage. They come with a 2-year warranty from MRO Electric. Features

The Schneider Electric XBTGT6330 features a 12-inch color screen with an active matrix also known as TFT (thin-film transistors) that benefit you by using less energy while bringing you sharper visibility. This module feathers SVGA, super video graphics array, that is capable of 800 x 600 pixels. It features the following certifications: UL508, Industrial Control Equipment, CSA-C22.2, No. 142-M1987 - Standard for Process Control Equipment, ANSI/ISA - 12.12.01(1) Electrical Equipment for Use in Class I Division 2 Hazardous Locations, and CAN/CSA-C22.2, No.14, No.213(1) - For Hazardous Locations. The XBTGT6330 carries Class 1 Div. 2 standards as it is designed for hazardous locations. The external dimensions for the Magelis touchscreen are 12.32 x 9.41 x 2.20 in., with an active display area of 9.76 x 7.34 in., and it weighs 6.6 lbs. When grounding the panel, you must observe a resistance of ≤ 100 Ω and the ground wire must have a cross-section of at least 2 mm2 (14 AWG).

The touch panel offers 16 levels of brightness adjustment and has ASCII: 2 alphanumeric language fonts. The Magelis uses the COM1 interface to connect to remote equipment via an RS-232C or RS-422- 485 cable, and COM2 interface for remote equipment, via RS-485 cable.

Rated input for the Magelis XBTGT6330 panel is 24 V dc, the input voltage limits are 19.2...28.8 Vdc. The acceptable voltage drop is ≤ 10 ms. The power consumption for this Schneider Electric module is ≤ 50 W3 and the inrush current is ≤ 30 A4. The voltage endurance between the power terminal and the frame ground (FG) is 500 VAC 20 mA for 1 min. The insulation resistance between the power terminal and the frame ground (FC) is 10 MΩ or higher at 500 Vdc. The Rating for the XBTGT6330 is IP65 (IEC 60529).

How to use an XBTGT6330

The Displays are user-created screens and are used with remote equipment. When the touch panel performs operation screen changes, it sends the data to the host PLC.

LED status

Green (steady): normal operation (power is ON) or OFFLINE operation.

Orange (steady): backlight burnout is detected.

Orange (blinking): during software startup.

Red (steady): when power is turned ON

Not lit: power is OFF

When the Ethernet interface (LAN) (10Base-T/100Base-TX): RJ-45 connector is used the following LED indications informs you of the current status:

Green ON: data transmission available.

Green OFF: no connection or subsequent loss of communication.

Yellow ON: data transmission is occurring.

Yellow OFF: no data transmission.

The USB host interface connects several interfaces including a data transfer cable, USB-compatible printer, peripherals, or a PLC USB terminal port to the XBT GT.
