Alarms are caused by tensions issues with the belt &#8211; either being too tight or too loose in relation to the sensor. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mroelectric.com\/\">MRO Electric and Supply<\/a> offers both new and refurbished <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mroelectric.com\/fanuc\/automation\/spindle-amplifiers\/1\">FANUC Spindle amps<\/a>, troubleshooting on our blog for a wide variety of parts, and repair services on any product we offer.<\/p>\n<h4>Steps for fixing the sensor gap<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Disconnect the wiring inside of the terminal box.<\/li>\n<li>Next take out the 4 bolts that hold the shroud\/fan to the motor.<\/li>\n<li>Remove the screws from the cover of the sensor on the motor.<\/li>\n<li>&nbsp;Loosen the screws holding the sensor in place until you have enough room to be able to slide a piece of paper between the gear and sensor.<\/li>\n<li>Tighten the 2 screws that hold the sensor in place to make sure they do not rub against each other at all.<\/li>\n<li>Fasten the sensor cover back to the sensor and tighten accordingly.<\/li>\n<li>Reattach the shroud and the fan to the motor.<\/li>\n<li>Configure the wiring back to what it was originally.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-2573\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mroelectric.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/mro_cncfanucmotors-3-300x226.jpg\" alt=\"fanuc cnc\" width=\"300\" height=\"226\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.mroelectric.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/mro_cncfanucmotors-3-300x226.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.mroelectric.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/mro_cncfanucmotors-3.jpg 400w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Now that the sensor for your FANUC Spindle amp is corrected, it should work properly.
