The SITOP modular 20 A Stabilized power supply module 6EP1436-3BA00 is manufactured by Siemens, an industry leader in automation. A robust power supply module, the SITOP PSU300m/300B is made for use with automated machines and systems. It is a primary-clocked power supply unit that is manufactured to connect seamlessly to a 3-phase AC line supply. The DC voltage is electronically regulated and is able to be set by way of a built-in potentiometer. There are LED displays on the SITOP 6EP1436-3BA00 that indicate the operating status. You can access the operating state of this unit as it is processed by way of the signaling contact. The potentiometer is accessed at the module’s output. Features

The Siemen 6EP1436-3BA00 features a line input connection and a DC output connection on the front lower portion. There are three things to note about the output of this SITOP module. The output is isolated, no-load proof, and short circuit proof. The signaling contacts are beside the input/output connections.  

Next to the signaling contacts on the lower front part of the module is the potentiometer followed by the pilot lamps. 

The selector switch is located on the underneath portion of the unit on the left front side. On the bottom rear of the SITOP module, you will find the DIN rail slider. Another key feature of this Siemens unit is that the PSU300B is optimized to charge batteries.

How to use a Siemens SITOP

To establish a connection to the supply voltage of the line input terminals, use the line input terminal connection. There is one screw terminal for the line input on this module. You will use the output terminals for connecting to the loads that you want to be supplied with power. This unit includes two screw terminals for output + and two screw terminals for output -. You also have available to you two signaling contact screws. This module is made for ambient temperature between -25 (-10)...+70 °C.
