The Siemens SINUMERIK HT 2 (Handheld Terminal 2) 6FC53030AA002AA is a rugged and easy-to-use handheld terminal designed for manual operation of machine tools. Its ergonomic design and low weight make it ideal for extended periods of use, particularly when mobile operation is necessary during setup. The HT 2 can be connected to any system location via a PN Basic terminal box or a PN Plus terminal box. When used with the PN Plus terminal box, it can be easily withdrawn and inserted during operation without initiating an emergency stop.

For mounting in the control cabinet, the HT 2 is connected with a connection module PN Basic. It is suitable for both right-handed and left-handed personnel and features two enabling buttons, as well as a magnetic handwheel for intuitive axis feed motion. All of the HT 2 keys can be freely configured and labeled.

To mount the HT 2, a retaining magnet or appropriate bracket can be used, both of which are available as accessories.

Features

The Siemens 6FC53030AA002AA0 unit contains a PCB with CPU and memory, as well as an Ethernet controller. The device front features a black and white LC display with a resolution of 168 x 72 pixels, capable of displaying four lines of 16 characters. There is also a 20-key membrane keyboard, with 16 machine control keys and four keys in the upper row that can be assigned as softkeys or system keys. The device also includes a 2-channel emergency stop button, a 19-position rotary override switch, and a magnetic handwheel.
