The drive module 6SN1123-1AB00-0HA2 is manufactured by the industry leader Siemens. What is the Siemens 6SN1123-1AB00-0HA2 and what can it do for your system? The 6SN1123-1AB00-0HA2 is a SIMODRIVE 611 control board module manufactured for use with the universal system. It is a control board that is universal, and it uses communication technology within the modular SIMODRIVE 611 converter system. It does this through the use of several unique components. These module items include communication interfaces, motor systems, encoder systems, and option modules.
This universal system includes two separate drive controls. These drive controls are implemented on a 2-axis board.
Which operating modes can the closed-loop drive control? In operating modes that have motor frequencies that are up to 400 Hz, the first is the speed/torque set point. The second operating mode is the positioning mode. In the first, speed/torque setpoint, the board is used to control several things. It is used for closed-loop speed control, open-loop torque control, and torque reduction. In the second operating mode, positioning mode, a max of 64 (256 from SW 10.1) traversing blocks are able to be selected and executed. You can set the parameters for each traversing block. Along with the block number, supplementary data is available. This supplementary data includes target position, acceleration, velocity, command, and block enable circuit.
What interfaces can be found on the board? On the board, you will find two analog interfaces per drive (± 10 V). This is the interface where speed and torque setpoints can be made. Current, torque reduction or a velocity override can be entered here. A second board interface is the angular incremental encoder interface (WSG-SS).
Parameter values for incremental position reference values are entered here. These parameters are entered as input.
As for output, the parameter of actual values positions happens here for high-level control by way of the appropriate interface parameters.
Third, each of the two drives has four digital inputs as well as four digital outputs. Here again, appropriate parameters can be set for the digital inputs and the digital outputs. The inputs and outputs are assigned with the required control message functions done through the setting of parameters. Each of the two drives has two analog outputs.
There are a couple of option modules available for the SIMODRIVE 611 universal system. They are a perfect addition to the system for expansion.
The first option module is a terminal module. The terminal module gives you an additional eight digital inputs as well as eight digital outputs.
These are necessary for selecting and starting a traversing block in the positioning mode. The second option module is the PROFIBUS-DP module.
To accommodate the distributed concepts, the SIMODRIVE 611 universal is able to be operated as a slave on PROFIBUS -DP with this option module.
Which motors are able to be used with the SIMODRIVE 611 system? 1FK6, 1FK7, 1FT6, 1FT7 servomotors up to 140 Nm, 1FE1 permanent–magnet synchronous motors, 1PH induction motors up to 100 kW (1PH6, 1PH4, 1PH2, 1PH7, 1PH8), Induction motors without encoder, Standard 1LA induction motors up to 100 kW, 1FN linear motors, and 1FW6 built-in torque motors.
