The 6SN1145-1BA01-0BA1 Siemens Infeed/Regenerative Feedback module is part of the Simodrive 611 series. These infeed modules connect the drive system to the line supply and are also used to input power to the DC link. Additionally, the I/R module supplies the electronics power for connected modules. The 6SN1145-1BA01-0BA1 does not have comprehensive overload protection so the overload protection must be provided by using the correct settings on the control boards.
Normally, the I/R, UI, and monitoring modules are the first units at the left of the drive group and mounted to the panel through a low resistance connection. When setting up the 6SN1145-1BA01-0BA1, you will need to check the S1 switches located on the upper side of the module to ensure that they are set properly for your configuration.
This Infeed Module has a LED display that is used to help diagnose any issues with the unit. On the front panel there are 6 LED lights that will show if the electronics power supply faulted, the 5V voltage level faulted, there are external enable signals not present, the DC link is charged, there is a line supply fault, and if there is a DC link overvoltage.
