A03B-0819-C052, also known as the A03B-08 INPUT MODULE ADA02A, is the analog output module MDL ADA02A.Manufactured originally in Japan, this FANUC accessory falls in the category of the input-output module. The input module conforms with UL/C-UL standards. This module is a member of the A03B-0819 product series. These products are manufactured in Japan and are designed for Commodity production, advanced machining, and CNC milling usage. They come with a 2-year warranty from MRO Electric. Features

The A03B-0819-C052 is a two-point analog I/O CNC module. The job of the module is to help input data into the larger system and transport data to a variety of actuators. The interface that is built into the A03B-0819-C052 utilizes switches, solenoids, sensors, stepper motors, and relays.  All are encased within a hard, plastic, yellow box-shaped contain. Of the 4 edge-sides, two are almost entirely solid, one has thin open slots in the plastic to help with ventilation of the internal workings to help prevent over-heating, and one of the smaller sides has the crucial openings required to connect the module to the larger system. 

Operation

The A03B-0819-C052 is an input/output module that the unit serves through the input/output link using a serial interface created and used to transfer input-output signals.  It does this in the form of bit data between the cell controller, CNC, the input/output model A, the power mate, and other mechanisms, all at a high speed. The entire input/output system is made of the FANUC input/output link with a master and a series of slaves. Upwards of 16 different groups of slaves can be connected to the single input/output link, input output-A can accommodate up to 2 units, and input/output-B can accommodate up to 30 units. The input/output module that is the operators can accommodate 1 unit. Any one slave is capable of connecting with any particular group; however, varying types of slaves are not able to connect with a single group.

Function

There are some important things to be aware of when selecting input and output signals in a FANUC PLC. Input signals are assigned to switches, pushbuttons, feedback devices, and limit switches. FANUC I/O, such as the A03B-0819-C052 input module, plays a major role in the functional operation of the PLC. The input/output link as a whole has 1024 input points for one channel. Similar to other FANUC input/output modules, the A03B-0819-C052 must be aligned with the input signals listed per the specific machine as shown in the user’s manual.
