Features

The V1000 AC Drive comes with a range of impressive features and specifications. It is rated for 1/8 to 5 HP at 200-240 VAC in single-phase, making it suitable for a variety of applications. It also has an overload capacity of 150% for 60 seconds under heavy-duty conditions and 120% for 60 seconds under normal-duty conditions. This ensures the drive can handle demanding loads effectively.

Control

The V1000 offers multiple control methods, including V/f control, open-loop current vector control, PM open-loop current vector control, and simple closed-loop speed control. It also features DC injection braking, ramp-to-stop functionality, electronic reversing, and adjustable acceleration and deceleration times ranging from 0.01 to 6000 seconds.

With a controlled speed range of 40:1 to 100:1, the V1000 provides precise speed regulation. It offers a displacement power factor of 0.98 and an adjustable output frequency range from 0 to 400 Hz. The frequency resolution is 0.01 Hz with digital reference and 0.06/60 Hz with analog reference. The drive ensures accurate frequency control with a frequency accuracy of 0.01% with digital commands and 0.5% with analog commands.

Design

The design of the V1000 AC Drive incorporates dual microprocessor logic, a digital keypad operator with a 5-digit display, and an LED status display for easy operation and monitoring. It has 7 multifunction digital inputs, 3 multifunction digital outputs, and a programmable form C output contact for customer use. The drive is also equipped with a variety of protection features such as current limit, stall prevention, motor and drive overload protection, overvoltage prevention, short circuit protection, and ground fault protection.

The V1000 AC Drive is designed to withstand various service conditions. It has an ambient service temperature range of -10°C to 40°C (14°F to 104°F) for NEMA 1 enclosure and -10°C to 50°C (14°F to 122°F) for open chassis. The humidity tolerance is up to 95% non-condensing, and it can operate at altitudes up to 3300 ft with derating. The input voltage ranges from -15% to +10%, and the input frequency has a tolerance of +/-5% at 50/60 Hz.

Options

There are several options and accessories to enhance the functionality of the V1000 AC Drive. These include a dynamic braking resistor, remote LCD with full-text display, various communication options such as Profibus-DP and DeviceNet, software tools like DriveWizard Plus and CASE, mounting kits, external heatsink kits, and control power units.
