The Modicon Plus network module NW–BM85C002 is a BM85 bridge multiplexor module manufactured by Schneider Electric.  Mounting by means of panel or shelf, the NW–BM85C002 utilizes both single and dual Modbus Plus Network cables to bridge communication between serial ports, node devices, and/or devices at serial ports on other MB 85 modules through Modbus Plus. The Schneider Electric NW–BM85C002 includes a Modbus serial port and utilizes either ASCII or RTU serial protocol.  The nominal operating power for the Modicon NW–BM85C002 is 115/230 Vac or 24 Vdc. These products are manufactured in France and are designed for Material handling, packaging, and textile machines usage. They come with a 2-year warranty from MRO Electric. Features

The BM85 bridge multiplexor module NW–BM85C002 features vertical or horizontal mounting. When opting for vertical mounting, this unit employs panel mounting with mounting brackets. Horizontal mounting is executed on a platform or a shelf with the use of mounting brackets. This Modicon Plus network module is 2.59 inches tall and 11.50 inches wide (14.08 inches wide including mounting brackets). It is 8.30 inches deep and weighs 5.5 pounds. 

What are the power requirements for the Modicon NW–BM85C002? The AC power requirements are 115/230 Vac +15%. 47 ... 63 Hz 10 W, and the DC requirements for this unit are 24 Vdc +15%, 10 W. The AC is accessed by a rear panel power connector with an ON, OFF switch. The internal fuse is 1.0 A, 3 AG SB. The DC access is at the rear panel power connector.

A suitable operating environment for the Modicon NW–BM85C002 is 0 ... 60 degrees C. A suitable storage environment for the Modicon NW–BM85C002 is –40 ... +80 degrees C.
