The Σ-II Series SGDH-10AE is a Servopack module manufactured by Yaskawa as part of their automation series. The SGDH-10AE is a Single/Three-phase 200 V unit. This Sigma II amplifier is the answer to your automation needs covering 30 watts to 55kW. The SGDH-10AE covers areas such as torque, speed, and position control by specifying the settings to meet your specific requirements. It has a rated output of 1.0 kW for an applicable servo motor.
The front cover of the Yaskawa SGDH-10AE lifts to reveal the analog monitor connector. The analog monitor connector is used to monitor motor speed, force reference, and values. It is connected through a special cable. With the front cover closed, the module name and designations are shown for reference. Below the front cover is the panel display area. The display is a 5- digit, 7-segment LED. This area relays the SERVOPACK status as well as alarm status. It also shows other values when the parameters are put in. Also within the panel operator area are the panel keys that are used to set the parameters. Below the panel operator is the charge indicator which will light when the main circuit power is ON. The indicator remains ON as long as the main power supply capacitor is charged. This is a safety precaution as the battery may remain charged after the power supply is OFF. Below the charge indicator on the left front of the Σ-II Series, SGDH-10AE Servopack module are the main power supply terminals which control the power supply input. Directly under the control terminal are the regenerative resistor connecting terminals followed by the servo motor terminals. These are used to connect external regenerative resistors and connect servomotor power lines respectively. The bottom left of the SGDH-10AE is the ground terminal connections. Below the panel operator on the right side are the CN# connector for PC monitoring and digital operator. Next down is the CN I/O signal connector for input signals and sequence I/O. The bottom right front connection is the CN2 encoder connector for serial converter connection.
The SGDH-10AE Sigma II amp is manufactured to work with a variety of network interface modules that can attach to give you even more control options. An optional feature for the Yaskawa amp is the single axis controller. These options can yield high-value results.
The Yaskawa SGDH-10AE has an AC rated output of 230 V and 300 Hz, and 7.6 A. If you are seeking nonfluctuating operation of your servo motor, then using the soft-start function of the SGDH-10AE drive is the best at doing this.
