Several functions make this module high performing. The model follow-up control function keeps settling time shortened by the advanced algorithms that deal with controls such as vibration. You can bring down the conventional position settling time by eliminating vibrations when there is a low characteristic in frequency on the machine. Vibration suppression control enhances the servo characteristics. Another useful function is a suppression filter for mechanical resonance. This function works by setting the vibration filter to conform to the resonance frequency of the mechanical system when the machine makes a noise due to high-frequency resonance. It also has a torque reference filter which automatically suppresses resonance when there is vibration in the servo system due to shaft resonance. The speed observer control function helps keep the motion smooth even if you have a shorter position settling time or the speed is low. You can use the mode switch function to switch between speed loop PI (proportional integral) and P (proportional) which will help to keep your system from overshoot and undershoot. This helps to improve motor function during acceleration and deceleration. For decreased positioning time, you can use the feed forward compensation function. To stop servo-lock below your preset speed command, use the zero clamp operation function that accomplishes this through the use of a position loop.
The set up for this unit is made easy with online auto-tuning. Simply plugin and play. There is no need for servo gain adjustment because this drive comes with magnified inertia matching precision. With automatic motor discrimination, the servo pack will automatically sense motor capacity and type and will then set the parameters for the motor accordingly. It does this through the use of the serial encoder. This drive will monitor torque for the cumulative load factor and deliver the best torque command. The other thing monitored by this drive is the regenerative load ratio. You can set it to get a warning to let you know of a possible overload issue before the regenerative overload alarm is triggered. You can set a secure password to ensure unauthorized users can not alter settings. The digital operator controls the motor and can be used without setting the speed commands. This is helpful for your initial introduction stage of use. The last ten alarms are stored in the drive so that troubleshooting is made easier. These alarms are stored even if the power is turned off. The three types of I/O signals can be chosen from the nine signals in the mapping function. You can easily control the position, torque, and speed by using the all-in-one control. This drive delivers optimum motor speed ripple control even at low speeds with the speed observer control.
