The Unidrive 3401 is a size three mounted Control Techniques drive module with many features to help enhance the performance of your system.

The maximum continuous output current for this module is 35 A, the nominal power at 400 V is 18.5 kW, and the motor power at 460 V is 25 hp. For this unit, the peak current is 38 A.
Some of the features for this unit include a SMARTCARD slot, a keypad connection, a serial port connector, and an encoder connection. On the front right of the module, you will find the approvals label and the status LED. Under those features, you will find the solutions module slot one, and beneath that, you will find slots 2 and 3. Finally, on the bottom right, you will find the control terminals and relay terminals.
You can use either panel mounting or surface mounting. When this module is through-panel mounted, you must use a baffle plate for the proper level of airflow through the heatsink. How does this work? The baffle plate helps the heatsink to form chimney action for the airflow. The airflow moves along the fins of the heatsink to help cool the module. This process happens when it is surface mounted.
